About Me

Bryson Profile - Small
I am a professional digital artist. I worked for Avalanche Software/Disney for 9+ years serving as a modeler, texture artist, level designer and level engineer. During that time I completed more than a dozen video games. In 2009 I began working as a generalist 3D freelance artist specializing in modeling, texturing and designing 3D virtual worlds. From 2009 to 2014, I worked with the client Virtual Immersive Educational World (V.I.E.W.) and produced 15 virtual worlds for V.I.E.W. and other important clients such as BYU, BYU Hawaii, iWorlds, Southern Virginia University, Golden Sunbeam International Montessori School and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I am currently creating art for various clients and always looking for more opportunities to use my talents.

Here are the game projects I worked on that were published during my time with Avalanche Software and Disney Interactive.

During the course of my work history, I have created 3D models, textures, lighting, animation rigging and game level engineering following best practices using Animation Master, Maya/Maya LT, Softimage, Blender, SketchUp, Photoshop, Illustrator, GIMP, 3D-Coat, Substance Painter, Bitmap2Material 3, Inkscape, Unity, ZBrush, UVLayout, TopoGun, dDo, Filter Forge 4, ShaderMap 2, InsaneBump, xNormal and various other software applications including in house tools to create successful video game titles and online educational experiences.

I am currently learning Modo, V-Ray for Blender, Vue, DAZ 3D, After Effects, nDo, Substance Designer, ProBuilder, Playmaker, Sketchbook Pro 6, Manga Studio 5, Clickteam Fusion 2.5 and CrazyTalk Animator 2 Pro. I am also studying DSLR photography to become a better artist.

Software I have used

Besides creating games and content for virtual spaces, I have a strong interest in creating more architectural visualization and photo-realistic renders. My plans for the future also include writing books and producing tutorials to help others achieve their CG goals more quickly.

In my spare time (if I ever have any) I enjoy watching movies, checking out the latest video games, singing, playing my guitar and cycling. What I enjoy most and always make time for is being with my family.

Here is list of some of the clients that I have produced artwork for.
