Today I thought I would challenge myself by doing some observational, subdivisional surface modeling in Blender and so I modeled my Pebble watch that was laying here on my desk. I got it modeled, applied the materials and rendered a product shot of it all before the end of the day. It is a work in progress so this isn’t a final render. Some of my holding (proximity) edges are too sharp and need to be relaxed (especially on the buckle and the strap). When I get some time I will fine tune the geometry and materials, pose it and do an animation render.
Special thanks to Thomas Berglund for the “LightBox01 Cycles” that can be found on BlendSwap.com.
